Privacy policy

This covers this website and Mo Chreach Tools: the software Mo Chreach! Music Technology Ltd uses to manage its own YouTube channel, which isn’t offered to anyone else.

This website

mochreach.dev is hosted on GitHub Pages. It uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. Video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube’s image servers, so YouTube sees those requests; GitHub may keep server logs as described in GitHub’s privacy statement.

Mo Chreach Tools: what it accesses

When signed in, Mo Chreach Tools uses the YouTube API Services to read and update the channel’s own videos: titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, thumbnails, privacy settings and publishing schedules. It doesn’t access any other Google or YouTube data, and it doesn’t access viewers’ data.

Where data is kept

The tool runs on our own computer. The sign-in token Google issues is stored only on that computer, and video metadata is kept in our own private files. Nothing is sent to any service other than YouTube, and nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising.

Removing access

Access can be revoked at any time from Google’s security settings. Deleting the stored token removes the tool’s access too.

By using YouTube through this tool, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
